Interactive Projection Kiosk

In collaboration with Russel Fling, Laura Drake, and Audra Bielskus

A small team of designers were tasked with developing an interactive gallery experience for a digital artist, our client. The client, Petronio Bendito, had created a Flash application for a touchscreen monitor, allowing the user to propagate movement of a colorful, graphic pattern.

We designed and fabricated a wooden kiosk with bent-steel frame and stretched fabric to discretely conceal a CPU, projector, touchscreen, and ventilation fans.

Additionally, a series of collapsible fabric forms provided a canvas to receive the projections and act as luminaries.
